Presenting my cat. I think he might be a bit wierd.
I was emptying the rainwater reservoir for the winter, before I forget. And he played with the water for the entire 30 minutes it took to empty the barrel. Hope he doesnt get a cold - perhaps I should get some boots and a raincooat for him.

Neither dampness nor cold air cause a cold. Viruses do.
Having said that, every cat I've ever adopted has immediately come down with a respiratory infection requiring veterinary care. If you've had little snicklefritz longer than a week, I wouldn't worry about it. My cats were all sick within 48 hours of adoption.
He's so damn cute I want to scoop him up and bring him under the covers to snuggle!

I need a cat to steal my coughing breath. So sick of my respiratory infection! I must have forgotten my boots at some point or another.
