I just stumbled over a website which is all the good stuff from youtube, but should be safe for kids to navigate.
How about this one for my freinds in Illinois.
:-)
My phone rang at around 9:30 this morning.
"Torben!"
"Hi It's Michael"
"Hi Michael" (Michael who! - I sort of recognized the voice but couldn't place it)
"What are you doin?" (Didnt' want to tell him I just woke up)
"Nothing much, wh..... OH - DAMN!" (It dawned on me which Michael)
"Why arn't you at work?"
"ehh I thought it was Saturday, grab a coffee I'll be right there..."
It was a technical contractor that I had a meeting with this morning, not good.
In retrospect I should have made up some car problem or other because, he spent the time he was waiting, telling ALL my collegues about my mistake, so I'we been ridiculed all day.. Bummer. I'll probably hear for it the rest of the summer.
Luckely it's a long time since I done anything equally dumb.
I remember one time in high-school I jumped out of bed and were litteraly getting dressed on the run as I sprinted for the bus-stop. And as I got there, I wondered when the bus would arrive, and why there were no traffic, then slowly realizing that it was Sunday.
The worst one was also in high-school; got up Wayyy to late, grabbed my dads car (It was allright with him) and drove 4 miles to the school, where i noticed that the parking lot was empty.. Because I somehow had woken up more than one hour early without noticing.. - Later the same day I got on the bus for home and had travelled half a mile, when I noticed the car keys in my pocket.....
While I was cooking dinner tonight, listening to a CD I picked up at a garage sale, I realized 2 important things; First, I really am looking forward to the moment when I can start picking up tomatoes and stuff in my greenhouse and start to cook Italian with my own produce. And secondly "The Chemical Brothers" album "Push the button" Is excellent for jumping up and down, making assorted rhythmical movements - So stupid of me not to have known that earlier.
I went to high-school with Nicolaj of New Amsterdam, which has just aired here.
I don't recall him though I probably saw him around, but he's in my blue book (year book).
Where among other things it says: "Nikolaj dreams about a career on stage" And "Nikolaj is his class' answer to W.C. Fields (Not only when it comes to his liver, which liver? ed). He is extremely entertaining when the mood takes him. Often he has put on a one-man show that brought the class into laughter cramps."
I think this could be something for me.
Then I'd get an excuse for wearing my secret Ninja Spandex outfit.
...
Uhmm Spandex.
(got this in the mail today):
It's your First Kiss and several questions might come to mind:
Is it the right time?
Is anyone watching?
Does your partner even want to?
Is your breath fresh?
AND,---Should you use some tongue?
Then you say . . .
'What the heck!' and Just Go for it!!!
I think this is so kewl.
I really appreciate stumbling over something like this on the Internet, it almost makes up for all the crap you also come across.
This is made (90%) out of samples from the old Disney classic by a young Aussie guy called Nick Bertke. Goodone mate.
With a stroke of the pen, a stranger transforms the afternoon for another man in this emotionally stirring short film by Alonso Alvarez.Alonso Alvarez Barreda won the NFB Online Competition Cannes 2008 with the short film Historia de un Letrero (The Story of a Sign).
Today has been a beautiful presummers day.
I have cats. Lots of cats. All though not my own, instead all the cats in the neighbourhood pops by all the time. These two came visiting today. But I guess they were probably visiting the birds rather than me. (I'm not sure if they are brothers or what, but I'd like to think so).
It's not bothering me much, the birds usually have the upper hand, and it is rare that anyone gets hurt.
Today I've been at the local glider club where I met up with my dear friends Kirsten and Asbjørn and their two boys for coffee and home baked.
But the more important reason was that their son Peter is now old enough (he just turned 9) to try flying with his dad, something I think he has been looking forward to for a long time (well they both have I imagine).
Are you sure he will be safe?

I think he grew at least 3 inches.
And after there even were the bonus of getting to drive the cable puller.
No Kristian, you will have to wait several years son.
But he does not mind as long as he gets to ride 'his' big red tractor.
They even had garden gnomes
He is such a goofball.
Messing with uncle-BoP.
I went out into the country yesterday, they say the weather is changing and a front is moving closer, so I thought I'd go out to enjoy the sunshine.
Then I came to spot this pretty girl on a field by the roadside.
She batted her eyelashes and looked at me with those big brown eyes.
I am pretty sure she was flirting there.
But Im nobody's fool, and it was obvious that she were just trying to make her boyfreind jaloux. - Women!!!
I find this a bit scary and I don't even have children.
